Web-Application for the Traceability of Thermophysical Properties in Moist Gas Mixtures.

Ensuring the accuracy of water vapor measurements in real humid gas mixtures is essential for a variety of scientific and industrial applications. UNICAS has partnered with VTT to develop a web-based application aimed at improving the precision of these measurements, thereby ensuring robust traceability for non-ideal gas mixtures, specifically those involving air (CDA), nitrogen (N2), argon (Ar). This endeavor encompasses an extensive review and synthesis of the current scientific literature and reports on non-ideal humid gas mixture models.
The creation of this application is informed by advancements in the understanding of water vapor enhancement factors, supported by a suite of validated numerical tools. The web-application is meticulously engineered to provide accurate estimations of the enhancement factor and its uncertainty across a broad temperature range from -100°C to 0°C, and a pressure range from 0.1 MPa to over 1 MPa.
